A recent Ferguson Subaru customer had the following to say about his Subaru Forester buying experience.
"My first contact with Ferguson Superstore was by phone. I called and asked for a new vehicle sales person for Subaru...Even though this was a phone conversation; he gave me a very good first impression. I made an appointment with him for the following Wednesday, that way my wife could go with me. That day we bought our new 2015 Subaru Forester...Again we felt that our needs would be taken care of. We recommend Ferguson Subaru. They were very friendly and knowledgeable." - By John Carrie A. from Tulsa

2017 Subaru Forester: Introduction
Subaru announced a comprehensive update to the 2017 Forester including revised styling, new driver assist technology, more interior comfort, enhanced driving performance, and better fuel economy.
The new 2017 Subaru Forester comes with a wide array of new features and enhancements, including: a new Turbo model with Torque Vectoring, upgraded style and comfort, improved MPG, and new safety technologies. These new features offer the driver greater peace of mind and a more engaging, comfortable driving experience.
2017 Subaru Forester: Exterior
The comprehensive update for the 2017 Forester is a mid-cycle refresh. Subaru's engineers have given the new Forester only minor changes to the exterior body of the SUV. You can find those changes on the front and rear lights, the front grille and on the wheels of the vehicle.
The 2017 Subaru Forester receives redesigned headlights and taillights. The rear taillights now feature a prominent C shape with LED illumination. The redesigned headlights also incorporate the C-shape, along with a black inner bezel, giving the lights a sleeker look. Combined, these new styling and lighting elements provide excellent forward visibility along with a more robust and distinctive look.
Looking at the wheels, our Tulsa-area Subaru customers will notice the 2017 Forester has been fitted with two new aluminum alloy wheel designs. The new 17-in wheels are standard on 2.5i Premium and Limited models, while the new 18-in wheel design is standard on 2.0XT trims. Both designs featuring a high-contrast black and machined finish.
To further enhance the style, a body color matching rear spoiler is now standard on all Premium models in addition to the previously equipped XT Premium, Touring and Limited models. Touring trim level models get a new Sepia Bronze Metallic exterior color. The exterior on the 2017 Forester also gets a new hexagonal grille.
2017 Subaru Forester: Interior
The 2017 Forester offers added soundproofing and other new features to provide a more comfortable experience for both passengers and drivers. Restructured door seals and thicker door glass reduce wind noise, while an added acoustic windshield and underfloor insulation contribute further sound deadening to create a more refined and quieter interior.
All 2017 Forester models now feature an updated steering wheel design with intuitive audio, Bluetooth and cruise control switches. A heated steering wheel - a first for the Forester line - is now standard on 2.5i Touring and 2.0XT Touring models, as well as Keyless Access with Push-Button Start.
The revised Forester Touring offers an all-new Saddle Brown perforated leather-trimmed upholstery option with contrast stitching. This exclusive choice also brings matching brown leather trim to the center console storage box lid, door panels and other interior details.
Additional convenience features such as automatic climate control, auto up/down on both driver and front passenger windows, and two-position memory seats are now standard across multiple trims. Plus, the 2017 Forester 2.5i Premium models now come with an available power liftgate.
2017 Subaru Forester: Performance
The 2017 Subaru Forester builds on the reputation for all-conditions performance. Responsible engineering on the SUV has been firmly established by the previous-generation models. At 32 mpg highway the AWD Forester delivers better fuel economy than even some two-wheel-drive competitors.
Subaru has enabled the 2017 Forester to be an even better option for city drivers; whether that's Tulsa, Owasso, Bixby, Oklahoma City, Tahlequah or any other city in the sooner state. Thanks to revisions to the powertrain, the 2017 Forester's EPA fuel economy rating increases to 26 MPG city and 28 MPG combined. The fuel economy for the Forester 2.0XT remains at 23 city/ 28 highway / 25 combined.
A quicker gear ratio in the steering gives the new Forester better handling and response to driver inputs, while Subaru's X-Mode traction assist system is now standard on all Premium, Limited and Touring models with CVT and incorporates Hill Descent Control. Active Torque Vectoring is now standard on Forester 2.0XT Touring models with EyeSight. The system helps reduce understeer and keeps the vehicle on the driver's intended cornering path.
2017 Subaru Forester: Safety
For 2017, the Forester received an update to Subaru's highly-rated EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, incorporating color cameras that provide a longer, wider field of vision. The revised system also includes Lane Keep Assist, which can gently guide the vehicle back to the center of its lane if sway is detected.
2017 Forester Touring and Limited models are equipped with EyeSight, included with Reverse Automatic Braking. This new preventative safety technology is designed to assist the driver by detecting large objects and to help avoid a possible collision when the vehicle is moving in a low speed reverse direction. The system uses four ultrasonic sonar sensors located in the rear bumper cover, and can automatically stop the vehicle if the driver does not respond.
For added night time visibility, newly available High Beam Assist works in conjunction with the EyeSight driver assist system and automatically switches the headlights between the high and low settings based on driving conditions. Also new for driver assistance at night is Steering Responsive Headlights which aims the headlight beams in the direction of vehicle travel to provide improved illumination around curves. Both features are standard on all 2.0XT Touring, 2.5i Touring and 2.5i Limited models equipped with EyeSight.

Subaru has continued to advance the outstanding features of the Forester SUV with drivability, durability, comfort and safety as top priorities. There's no better SUV for not only exploring Oklahoma's backcountry, but also getting around the city in style, than the Subaru Forester.
