For the tenth year, Subaru of America and its retailer network partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative — a national effort to deliver warmth and hope to individuals undergoing treatment for blood cancer.

In support of this initiative, Ferguson Subaru proudly completed its ninth consecutive year of partnership with the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI), serving as our designated Hospital Partner since 2017.

2025 Donation Highlights

As part of this year’s program, the Ferguson Subaru team visited OCSRI to hand-deliver:

• 80 heart-shaped blankets
• 50 Patient Care Kits containing curated comfort items for patients in treatment
• Dozens of handwritten Messages of Hope, collected from Ferguson Subaru customers

The donation was made directly to patients receiving care at OCSRI’s infusion center, helping provide a sense of encouragement and physical comfort during treatment.

National Impact, Local Focus

Subaru’s partnership with LLS has supported nearly 350,000 cancer patients across the United States since 2016. In June 2025, Subaru retailers nationwide participated in coordinated deliveries to local hospitals and treatment centers. Ferguson Subaru was honored to be part of this national effort by continuing its long-standing collaboration with OCSRI here in northeast Oklahoma.

Retailers also had the opportunity to support LLS’s Urgent Need Pediatric and Young Adult Program, which helps offset non-medical expenses for families of young blood cancer patients. This program is funded exclusively through Subaru retailers.
