Subaru Crosstrek “Boost Gear Concept” to debut at 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon
Subaru is planning on bringing some cool pieces of metal to the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon (a Japanese auto show similar to the United States SEMA show). The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon is scheduled to be held from January 13 to 15, in Chiba, Japan. In total, Subaru plans to unveil seven models. While the line-up is made mostly of concept models, models not sold in the United States, and non-retail rally models; there is one model familiar to U.S. shoppers – an upfitted Subaru Crosstrek called the Crosstrek Boost Gear Concept.
The full line-up of Subaru Tokyo Auto Salon models include:
- 2023 Subaru WRX Rally Challenge (not yet revealed)
- 2023 Subaru WRX NBR Challenge
- 2022 Subaru BRZ GT300
- Subaru Impreza Protoype
- Subaru Levorg STI Sport ♯ prototype (the Subaru Levorg is not sold in the U.S.)
- Subaru Rex Boost Gear Concept (the Subaru Rex is not sold in the U.S.)
- Subaru Crosstrek Boost Gear Concept
Subaru elevated their offering of rugged, off-road inspired vehicles with the release of the Wilderness line. The 2022 Subaru Outback was the first member of the Wilderness family. It has given the legendary Outback greater ground clearance, more off-road upgrades, and a more rugged style. The Wilderness family continues to grow, with the latest being the 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness. The reveal of Subaru Rex Boost Gear Concept proves that Subaru has no plans to slow their off-roading prowess.
Ferguson Subaru would love to bring the Subaru Crosstrek Boost Gear to our Subaru dealership near Tulsa, OK. We are not sure, yet, if the Subaru Crosstrek Boost Gear Concept will make its way to the United States. More information about the Subaru Crosstrek Boost Gear Concept and Subaru’s other planned Tokyo Auto Salon models can be found on Subaru’s Japanese website: https://www.subaru.jp/tas/.

I would love to know how I can get a nose cover for my 24 Crosstrek like the one on this vehicle! They should make these “Boost” parts available for purchase!!!
